Four years ago this October, I opened the doors of Magda Clinic with one simple dream. I wanted to give the women of Townsville a calm, welcoming place where their bodies are listened to and properly cared for. Today I’m celebrating our 4th birthday, and my heart is so full.
Last year I told you how my journey started almost by accident, with a sore back and a new life in Australia. This year I want to share less about me and more about you, because you are the real reason this little clinic is still here and still growing.
Four years, four big thank-yous
To my very first clients. You booked with a brand-new clinic and trusted me when nobody knew my name. I will never forget that.
To everyone who keeps coming back. Every time I see a familiar face on my booking list, it makes my day. Watching you move more freely, sleep better and carry a little less tension is the best part of my job.
To everyone who told a friend. Most of my new clients come because someone they trust sent them to me. Every recommendation, every gift voucher and every review means more than you know. One kind review recently mentioned a birthday voucher that turned into a “top three massage of my life”, and that made me smile for a week.
To my friends and family. You cheered me on through the busy weeks and the quiet ones, lent a hand, listened, and believed in me on the days I needed it most. This clinic was built with your support as much as with my hands.

Since I started Magda Clinic 4 years ago, I’ve:

What hasn’t changed
Magda Clinic is still a women-only remedial massage clinic in Townsville. Every session is a full 60 minutes, focused completely on you. I offer remedial, deep tissue, pregnancy, hot stone and Kobido massage. Health fund rebates are processed on the spot. My gift vouchers are valid for three years, so they make a stress-free present for someone you love.
Two favourites from this year
This year two treatments really stole the show at my clinic.
Kobido massage has become one of my most-booked sessions. Kobido is a traditional Japanese facial massage that uses quick, rhythmic hand techniques across the face, neck and shoulders. So many women in Townsville have fallen in love with it. Clients often tell me they walk out feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed and glowing, and many now book it as their regular treat.
I also introduced my Signature Tension Headache & Jaw Massage, and I’m thrilled by how much my clients love it. I created it for women who carry their stress in the head, jaw, neck and shoulders. That might show up as clenching or grinding, long hours at a screen, or busy days that leave you tight and sore by evening. The session gently releases the muscles around the jaw, temples, scalp, neck and upper back. Many clients find it eases that heavy, tense feeling and helps them unwind properly. It has quickly become one of the most requested sessions at Magda Clinic.
